OUR STORY

Hi! I am Valerie and pumpkins have been a lifelong love. Growing up on my parent's farm, my brother and I grew great big Atlantic Giants and sold them in our driveway each autumn. We would proudly display the biggest on our farmhouse front steps.

As an adult, creating dreamy autumn pumpkin displays on my own front porch is an event I look forward to each year. Sky Vale Pumpkins was born out of that joy and it is my hope to spread some of it to others.

Sky Vale Pumpkins are grown on our family farm. Each year we grow thousands of gorgeous pumpkins in the Skykomish River Valley to offer you fresh and locally grown beauty.

One of my more random goals this year is to grow pumpkins up this trellis. The key is to choose a variety that is small enough to be supported but large enough to drop down through the leaves to hang overhead. These are Jade Knight, a blocky grey- green variety that will weigh around 7-8 lbs. These will be a great addition to our specialty pumpkins available in each of our pumpkin packages.
